Cryosauna for a cold-blooded victory
“Cryosauna at a temperature of -150 C speeds the recovery of your body and mind”, – says a renowned champion and heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
Wladimir Klitschko, also known as “Dr.Steelhammer”, is an Olympic champion and UNESCO Champion for Sport. His sports career achievements are astonishing, as almost all of his fights claimed Klitschko to be undefeated. It has been so until 2015 when Klitschko lost WBO, IBO and WBA belts in a fight with Tyson Fury.
For his rematch, Klitschko was training as never had before.
Ukrainian boxer used various techniques to get ready for a fight. There were some unusual ones, though. Just before the scheduled fight, Klitchko spent time in cryosauna and experienced the exposure to a temperature of -150 C. The effects of cryotherapy, as Klitschko described, force your body to chill out.
“You think you really know everything about the cold? Cryosauna at a temperature of -150 C speeds the recovery of your body and mind” – posted the champion on Facebook.
Klitschko definitely was in the home stretch, but Fury pulled out of a rematch scheduled in Manchester due to an injury. A postponed fight also did not happen, as Fury was declared to have medical contraindications.
In a meanwhile, Klitschko claims to enjoy cryotherapy and assures to be perfectly fit on the twenty-second year of his sports career. He is currently getting ready for another fight with yet invincible British boxer Anthony Joshua, who will face Klitschko on April 29.
If Klitschko wins, he will run for a super champion title.
